Tenby Tenby Skellig2008

Tenby is an absolute gem of resort, with attractive pastel-coloured Georgian and Victorian buildings balanced on a rocky headland overlooking a scenic boat-filled harbour and surrounded by wonderful beaches of soft golden sand.  It is a small town of great charm and beauty and is one of the most attractive holiday destinations in the whole of the UK.

The town is steeped in ancient history surrounded by an imposing medieval stone wall. Through the passages of time Tenby has seen many changes but it has been on the leisure map for nearly 200 years. And with all that experience the people of Tenby certainly know how to offer each and every visitor an unforgettable time. A recent Which? report said “Tenby was one of the UK’s finest holiday resorts, with a medieval centre and three gorgeous Blue Flag beaches”

Tenby can be a serene, attractive destination sure to charm you, and those in search of spending time by the beach are spoilt for choice here, but Tenby can also offer plenty to do for the more active holidaymakers.

Belgrave Hotel

The ever popular Belgrave Hotel is

always a big hit with visitors due to the

superb seafront position overlooking

Tenby’s beautiful south beach and

Monastic Island of Caldey.

Stay and relax in a warm, friendly and

comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy your

meal in the dining room with its choice

of excellent freshly cooked dishes, then

to finish why not try one of the sinful

deserts.

Later have a comfortable seat watching

the sun set over the sea in our Victoria

bar with its extensive collections of ales,

wines and spirits.

All rooms have ensuite facilities, TV and

complimentary tea and coffee.

Itinerary

Full day excursion to Haverfordwest

and St Davids: Haverfordwest is

delightfully situated on the River Cleddau

and boasts a Norman castle and a wide

range of restaurants and cafes. St Davids

is situated on the far south west coast of

Wales; although technically a city due to

its magnificent cathedral. St Davids is an

attractive village, set amongst beautiful

coastal scenery.

Full day excursion to Laugharne and

Carmarthen: Laugharne (pronounced

Larne) is the former home of the poet

Dylan Thomas, immortalised in his work

“Under Milk Wood”, but it is interesting

in itself as an ancient town with a Welsh

castle and quaint winding streets.
